On May 19th, student ambassadors and staff from Southern Careers Institute’s San Antonio North campus volunteered as a part of an SCI Cares initiative at ‘Feed San Antonio Veterans,’ a monthly food drive hosted by Soldiers’ Angels.
Soldiers’ Angels is a nationwide charitable organization that works to provide assistance, relief, and resources to past and present military members and their families. In 2021 alone, Soldiers’ Angels assisted nearly a million service members and veterans across the nation. At Thursday’s event, SCI student ambassadors helped pack bags and distributed groceries to more than 1,000 San Antonio veterans and their families. We are so thankful to our student ambassadors, Soldiers’ Angels, and the San Antonio community for coming together to help our veterans.
