Q: What can I expect to gain from Southern Careers Institute?

A: SCI provides the training a student needs to sit for certifications that will prepare them to pursue a career in their chosen field of study. Whether it is the Medical Assistant training program, Medical Billing and coding Specialist program, Pharmacy Technician program, Business Accounting Apecialist program, HVAC program, or any other educational program available.

Q: I have not been in school for a long time, and I am not sure I could handle the training.

A: We have had many students who have been out of school for a while. At SCI, we strive to provide students in this scenario with an encouraging atmosphere to help them feel comfortable re-entering an educational environment as well as offering the support needed to re-adjust.

Q: I don’t know if I can afford training, is there Financial Aid?

A: As an accredited school, we participate in many financial aid programs. Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Our financial aid officers will explain the process to you and answer all of your questions.

Q: How can I qualify for Financial Aid?

A: We have experienced financial aid officers at each campus ready to help you with all your needs. Upon your personal interview, a financial aid officer can determine which financial aid programs you qualify for.

Q: Is Southern Careers Institute an accredited school?

Q: Does SCI offer classes in any other language than English?

A: Our students must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. At this time, programs are not offered in any language other than English.

Q: Does SCI accept credits from another school?

A: If you are a student transferring from another school, you must provide a transcript and detailed course descriptions for review prior to starting school. Please be advised that the acceptance of credits from another school/state board is at the sole discretion of Southern Careers Institute.

Q: How long does it take to complete the courses at SCI?

A: Course completion varies by program.
