During your training as a medical coding and billing specialist, you will have to opportunity to gain invaluable certifications that any future employer will want from his or her job candidates. All of these certifications are nationally recognized and authorized by the National Healthcareer Association. Upon completion of your course, you will earn your Certified Billing & Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification. In addition, you will also be given the chance to earn a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification and an Electronic Health Records Specialist (EHRS) certification.
With these certifications, you can significantly increase your job opportunities, your potential earnings, and earn an increased understanding of your own profession.
