Since its inception in 1960, the Southern Careers Institute has expanded throughout Texas, providing quality education to students from all backgrounds and in all parts of the state. Students can now choose between 7 physical campuses and one virtual program, each of which offers its respective advantages:

Austin
Located less than 2 miles from I-35, the Austin campus is one of the most easily accessible Southern Careers Institute locations. The school offers five vocational programs: Business Accounting, Pharmacy Tech, Medical Billing & Coding, Administrative Assistance, and Medical Assistance. Students have easy access to the city’s best restaurants, clubs, and other amenities.

Pharr
Catering to students from both Pharr and McAllen, this campus lies along North Jackson Road. It provides 5 vocational programs: Medical Assistance, Medical Office Support, Medical Billing & Coding, Administrative Assistance, and Business Accounting.

Corpus Christi
The Corpus Christi campus offers 5 vocational study courses: Administrative Assistance, Medical Billing & Coding, Medical Assistance, Business Accounting, and Pharmacy Tech. Located on Airline Road, the school is a 1.5 mile drive from Route 358. It is also close to the Gulfway Shopping Center and a range of other important businesses.

Brownsville
Of all the Southern Careers Institute locations, the Brownsville campus has one of the best course selections. Students can study Computer Support, Business Accounting, Medical Billing & Coding, Administrative Assistance, Medical Assistance, Cosmetology, and Medical Office Support. The school is just off I-69E, and is right across the street from the Southwinds Shopping Center.

Harlingen
The Harlingen campus is less than four miles from I-69E, and offers easy access to several bus stops on Route 77. Students at this campus are able to choose from 6 vocational programs: Business Accounting, Medical Billing & Coding, Medical Assistance, Welding, HVAC, and Administrative Assistance. The school is a short walk from Pendleton Park, allowing students to easily take a break from their studies and get some exercise.

San Antonio North
Located just off of I-410, the school’s San Antonio North campus is easy to access from anywhere in the city. The school offers training as a Pharmacy Technician, a Business Accounting Specialist, an HVAC Technician, a Medical Billing & Coding Specialist, a Medical Assistant, and an Administrative Assistant. The campus is close to a wide range of restaurants, stores, and other amenities.

San Antonio South
Found along Southwest Military Drive, the San Antonio South campus provides easy access to local convenience stores, sports shops, restaurants and other businesses. It offers 6 major programs: Pharmacy Tech, Medical Billing & Coding, Medical Assistance, Business Accounting, Administrative Assistance, and Medical Office Support. The campus is also a short walk from Harlandale Park.

The Online Campus
Located on the World Wide Web, this campus is available from anywhere that has Internet access. You can take classes from your home, while on vacation, during breaks at work, or at any other time or place that is convenient to you, making this by far the most convenient location. The only downside to the online campus is that it does not yet provide the full range of programs. At present, you can only take Medical Billing & Coding and Business Accounting courses online; all other courses require you to go to a physical campus. Studying the location and nearby amenities is only the first step in choosing a school. Once you know what is available around each school, you must decide on a program that fits your skills.
