Southern Careers Institute Annual Community Holiday Tree Giveaway 2020

Southern Careers Institute Annual Community Holiday Tree Giveaway 2020

Recently, students, faculty, and staff at each of our eight campuses decorated and donated a total of 26 trees and gifts to families in need. And, this holiday season, this annual tradition took on even more meaning this year, with so many families impacted by COVID-19.

“Giving is in SCI’s DNA and every year our faculty and staff look forward to the Holiday Tree Giveaway as a way to support their local communities. This is the culmination of our annual SCI Cares effort and everyone goes the extra mile to make it special for the families.” said Nikki England, President of SCI. “We know many are hurting due to the pandemic and we want to bring a little extra joy to the holidays.”

Here are some of our favorite news stories covering the Holiday Tree Giveaway in 2020.
