My experience from day one was great. Detailed explanations from all instructors. A variety of information from a few different instructors made it easy to learn. I would recommend, I can say it’s quality over quantity. You don’t need a million trucks to teach a squad of students. You need a few trucks, and a few damn good teachers to get the job done. If you want it, you’re gonna learn. Appreciate you for your time and patience !

Not a horrible place but definitely not worth the money, I’ve graduated from the welding side and I’m not sure about other trades but need actual instructors Luis E. Hernandez is the only one out of everyone there that is there for you and your career the new night class instructor graduated with me when his graduation was in 2025 but he somehow got moved up to the 2024 ceremony got one of the best attendance in the school yet he was hardly there I saw him maybe 6 weeks out of the entire 6 months, the school runs out of supplies often, most of the MiG and tig machines there don’t even work there’s probably 20 welders sitting in the back that been there for months that need “work” , everything you get in the $300 bag is low quality face shields and glasses, esab auto darkening helmet, makita 4 1/2in grinder, a bad that catches fire easily making you go and but a pack out or something like that, gloves that shrink like crazy, welding pliers, wire brush, and chipping hammer, you are not allowed to use the beveling equipment only instructors, pipe welding isn’t practiced it’s there if you want to try but you have to learn on your own cause there isn’t any instructors that know how to except Luis but your not always gonna have him, instructors are hardly out in the lab, no solid ventilation, ac leaks often, steel booths no vents other then garage doors SOMETIMES being open, big welding table in the back that doesn’t get used, rods are locked up, CAREER SERVICES will NOT place you in a job as much of a time as they claim the employees in that department are always in and out someone new quite often, I know tons of people that haven’t found work yet I know very few that actually have gotten jobs and what a disappointment as a welder position we’re getting these place by careers services that offer 16-18 an hr which is fine if your just starting but these jobs are asking for full on welders and more half of the jobs we get recommended also want 2 yr minimum of experience, I go to this school often because I need material or practice on stuff im finding out we should’ve learned and what the school claims we have, overall this school is fine if you just want the certificate to your name but still wanna keep on with your everyday life, but if yall are starting fresh out of high school it’s just not the place. LUIS E Hernandez is the only instructor there that knows how to weld and teach he needs a raise or something because he’s gone above and beyond to help these students

CDL trucking program, is top notch! They have instructors like Mike and Angel who are sincere about this skill, privilege, and opportunity to drive CMV's. Mike is patient and has a style the forces good habits as he makes sure you're looking both ways at intersections and your eyes are on your mirrors, especially when making those turns. Crucial, might I add. I followed Angel's strategy to the Pre trip/ Incab/ etc. He does an amazing job at explaining a solid rhythmic strategy to pass. Roger was very communicative and encouraging throughout the entire process, I can't say enough about these guys. A very solid team they have here. I would recommend them 10/10. and PLUS they're recognized by many carriers as a reputable school, which I didn't learn until my job search process. I start training with a mega carrier in a few days! Extremely excited. Again, I thank you emphatically SCI! You guys are the best.

My experience at SCI in the MA program was truly amazing. I learned so much from both my teachers and peers, but what truly made it special were the teachers—especially Mr. Ramos and Mr. G. Mr. Ramos was incredibly motivating. He believed in us, taught the basics with clarity, and always pushed us to keep going. I’m truly grateful for him.Mr. G’s class was the toughest I’ve ever taken, but it taught me the most. He pushed me to my limits and helped me grow into a stronger, more capable person.
