CORPUS CHRISTI, TX / AGILITYPR.NEWS / March 31, 2025 / Corpus Christi, TX – Southern Careers Institute (SCI) is excited to announce its participation in the 2025 SkillsUSA Conference, taking place April 2nd-5th at the American Bank Center, located at 1901 N Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX. Attendees can visit the SCI booth during the following hours:
- Wednesday, April 2nd: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday, April 3rd: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday, April 4th: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
The SkillsUSA Championships provide students with the opportunity to showcase their skills at various competition levels, beginning at the local level and advancing through District, State, National, and even WorldSkills events. Winners have the chance to earn recognition medallions, scholarships, tools, and other awards while also making valuable job contacts. Each level of competition requires qualification to advance to the next stage, following official Texas and National event regulations.
Representatives will be on-site to discuss the variety of career training programs SCI offers across Texas, helping high school students and aspiring professionals learn more about career-focused education opportunities. Representatives will also provide information about grants available to those who qualify, ensuring that students have access to the resources they need to pursue their career goals.
