Healthcare costs in the United States are considerably high, making it necessary to save whenever possible. The costs are even higher on RX or prescription drugs. So, if you find yourself unable to cater for your prescription drugs comfortably, just know that you aren’t alone – almost 25% of Americans are unable to afford their medications.

Prescriptions can be expensive, yet we can’t do without them. Did you know that people in the United States spent approximately $350 billion on prescription drugs alone? That’s quite a considerable sum, and the numbers may rise by roughly three to 6% annually. Luckily, there are several ways you can save and comfortably your prescription drugs. There are RX deals and companies out there that can assist you, especially if you don’t have insurance.

Please read on to learn more about the best RX deals and programs to help keep your prescription drug costs down and how you can become a certified pharmacy technician in Texas.

1. RxSaver

RxSaver is a platform that helps you find RX coupons at pharmacies near you. Whether uninsured or underinsured, you can save up to 80% on prescription medications using RxSaver. RxSaver may offer a lower prescription discount than your insurance copay if you don’t have any medical insurance.

To benefit from RxSaver:

  Go here.

Search your prescription drugs and compare prices in pharmacies near you.

Get Free Rx coupons for your prescription.

Lastly, carry the Rx coupon and show it to the pharmacists for a discount on your prescription.

2. Cost Plus Drug RX Deals

Mark Cuban’s Cost Plus Drug Company gives consumers discounts on various prescription drugs to eradicate big pharma’s high, manipulative costs on medications. You can access more than 100 generic medications at prices that are way less than what your insurance plan’s deductible and copay requirements would pay. Currently, Cost Plus Drug buys directly from third-party suppliers. You’ll be able to save even more once the company starts manufacturing its own medications.

3. GoodRx

You can save up to 80% on your prescription drugs with GoodRx. Also, you can get more than 1,000 prescription medications for less than $10. To benefit from GoodRx:

Sign up to create an account for RX deals.

Check for the discounted price at pharmacies near you.

4. SingleCare

SingleCare is a prescription drug-saving card for Americans over 13 years. You can use SingleCare and enjoy up to 80% discounts on prescription prices from over 35,000 participating pharmacies across the United States for a broad range of medications. You can use the card in major pharmacies such as Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, and Walgreens. While you can’t SingleCare with your insurance, its prices are sometimes lower than your insurance copay. SingleCare also offers $5 off your next prescription for signing up. You can also enjoy their bonus savings program for better discounts. All you have to do is sign up using the SingleCare app or website.

5. ScriptSave WellRx

Similar to Good Rx and SingleCare, ScriptSave WellRx can help you get up to 80% discount on prescription medication from over 65,000 participating pharmacies across the United States.   Once you find the best price, you can download the coupon to show it to the pharmacist to enjoy a discount.

7. Walgreens Prescription Savings Club

Major pharmacies also have discount programs for prescription drugs. The Walgreens Prescription Savings Club allows you to save up to 80% on prescription, preventative pet, and lifestyle medications from about 9,000 outlets across the United States.
