The experience was my first ever doing anything like this online. I was not sure how I would do not being in the class room. After putting my best foot forward as one may say, I did better than I thought. I taken the course of Medical Billing and Coding. The course was something I wanted to explore and challenge myself being that past work skills experience was verifying patient demographic for the doctor charge billing. The opportunity could have been even greater, if during the externship site for Medical Billing and Coding had provided the hands knowledge experience. I do hope in the future SCI will make this another priority for the students to get in the course. Individuals like me that is out of work due to a disability, a want to attend school to further their education to get the skills and work experience to excel in finding a job. To date the program is great.
