Awful experience when trying to deal with them in person, they definitely cared about just recruiting me and not about me as a person I kept saying I’m not ready postpartum and I kept feeling pressured to start anyways, but after revisiting this a couple months later in my postpartum journey at four months, I decided to look online instead and met with the most beautiful soul who is also mother like me and can relate and understand my emotions And validate them so I feel extremely excited to start school and wish I was already a student, but I start in January next month

I have to give credit to Imelda in the admissions department in Pharr, Tx. I was simply interested in going back to school, when I talked to Imelda she was very knowledgeable in the programs and the school culture. I wanted to hang up because the procrastinator in me wanted to keep pushing school on the back end of things. And when talking to her I felt excited, ready, and responsible to take the initiative and run with the decision of attending. Having graduated high school 20 years ago, this was a huge leap of faith for me, life challenges came and I kept going, I kept submitting my work. I had great support from the instructors, administrators, & Imelda along the way. I proudly graduated from the billing and coding program, and just enrolled for the Associates of applied science in healthcare management.

It was a smooth and amazing experience enrolling in SCI. I had horrible anxiety before talking to the Admissions Rep, Christine, but after talking to her and explaining everything and walking me through the process that anxiety was out the window and I was more than ready to start.
