In either case, you will learn both administrative and clinical tasks, including scheduling, bookkeeping, records maintenance, filing insurance claims, urinalysis, assisting in minor surgery, measuring infants, eye and ear irrigation, casting, wound care, and pulmonary function tests.

After graduating from Kaplan College, you will be able to work in an entry-level position in a doctor’s office, clinic, or other types of medical facility as a medical assistant, donor unit assistant, blood bank unit assistant, or front office assistant manager. The College of Health Care Professions

This 35-week program from CHCP can lead to a job as a medical assistant, front or back office assistant, laboratory assistant or aide, or assistant in a donor unit. The certificate program teaches students about reception duties and clinical tasks, including how to interview patients, monitor vital signs, administer medication, and perform basic medical procedures.
