1. Work While Studying Part Time
By studying part time in the evenings or at weekends, you can continue working or even find a job to finance your education. As most cosmetology programs take only a few months to complete, there is no need to juggle work and study for too long.  

2. Join the Federal Work Study Program
A better option for those who are currently unemployed could be the Federal Work Study program, available at many cosmetology schools in Corpus Christi. This provides part-time work to students studying both full and part time, whenever possible providing students with work related to their program. This means enrolling in the Work Study program may also provide you with the chance to gain experience in cosmetology before you graduate. There are also a large number of grants available for students in Texas. These include the TEXAS Grant, the Lyndon B. Johnson Foundation Grant, the Education and Training Vouchers program for current and former foster youth, and the Texas Educational Opportunity Grant (TEOG).  

6. Find a Scholarship
Scholarships are another means of financial support that don’t require repayment. Based on academics and other factors, scholarships can come from your school, community organizations, private employers, or from the state or local government.  

7. Use Your Military Benefits
Those who are currently serving in the military, veterans, and dependents and spouses of military personnel can use benefits to pay for tuition and other fees. Among others, you can utilize the Montgomery G.I. Bill, the Exemptions for Texas Veterans program, the MyCAA program, the Post 9/11 G.I.
