To work as a professional accountant, companies expect you to hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. To receive the license, you first need to attend college for at least four years to gain your bachelor’s degree; however, many students spend an extra year acquiring their master’s degree to increase their college credit hours. 

Next, you will need to find a job to meet the Texas work experience requirements. Finally, you must pass a 14-hour examination, scoring at least 85 percent. The exam comes in four sections, and you must complete all of them within 18 months. Certified Professional Bookkeepers Certification

PowerPoint

Skills in PowerPoint can lead to a position of greater responsibility.
